Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity and preventing damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required paperwork (Bills of Lading, Delivery Receipts).
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements (Hazmat/Tankers a plus but not required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
