Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely using proper handling equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and delays.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Must possess a Class A or Class B CDL (Department of Transportation requirements apply).
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level drivers who are ready to learn.
- Driving Record: Clean driving history with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading cargo.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible scheduling and occasional overtime.
- Documentation: Valid DOT medical card and proof of residency.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for reading road signs and communicating with dispatch.
