Your Role
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region while maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to all DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with all Federal and State motor carrier safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secure and undamaged.
- Complete and maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and mandatory paperwork.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Adhere to company timeframes and delivery routes to ensure on-time performance.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (physical).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary.
