Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight to designated locations safely and on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are properly secured and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and incident reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
