Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and in full, adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and all necessary shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
