Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles within California and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Document all deliveries and mileage accurately via electronic logging devices (ELD).
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with local Long Beach and Southern California routes is highly preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
