Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic logging device (ELD) updates.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a safe vehicle appearance at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing routes.
