Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on all road types.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate daily logbooks (DVIR) and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate commercial vehicles.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety protocols.
