Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver cargo safely and on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and delivery records.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate safety equipment and techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
