Job Overview
We are seeking professional drivers to operate our commercial trucks safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for transporting goods to various destinations while maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, vans, and straight trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork and receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding route changes, delays, and delivery updates.
- Perform routine vehicle cleaning and minor maintenance to uphold a professional appearance and operational readiness.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and Company Code of Conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate commerce.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
