Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to travel to locations in Florida and North Carolina.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
