Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently across Illinois and the surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or ability to obtain one through our paid training).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- U.S. citizenship or valid legal work authorization in the United States.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service standards.
