Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional freight transportation across Florida
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and delivery optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Complete required documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Florida's highway system and regional logistics hubs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
