Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight across California and surrounding states.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, straps, etc.) while maintaining cargo integrity.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations and policies.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation (E-Logs supported).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (Entry-level candidates with a clean record will be considered).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read maps and GPS devices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
