Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) on designated routes in and around El Paso.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold company policies regarding traffic laws, speed limits, and hazardous material handling.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License (No Commercial Driving Experience Required for Entry).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
