Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues immediately to dispatch.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Fulfill customer service duties, including processing paperwork and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (No experience required; training available).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to submit to a background check.
