Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Navigate local and regional routes in the Detroit metro area.
- Provide excellent customer service during freight delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills and time management.
