Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on assigned routes in and around Denver.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, securing loads according to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) and adhere to all DOT/HOS regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor duties.
- Reliable communication skills and punctuality.
- Hazmat or Tanker endorsements are a plus but not required.
