Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while adhering to strict schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat or Tanker endorsements if necessary.
- Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
