Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
