Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legal manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate and compliant logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring cargo security.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo paid training for novice drivers.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
