Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on various roadways.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DOT compliant) and mileage records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Handle customer service duties at delivery points, including signing bills of lading.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical examination.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
