Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently on regional routes within Maryland and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Entry-level experience is a plus, but training provided for qualified candidates.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
