Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) in a safe and legal manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Navigate local and regional routes with punctuality and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine vehicle checks.
