Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT 3070) and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) with no restrictions.
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no DUIs, reckless driving, or serious accidents in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Availability for flexible shifts and occasional overtime.
