Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and secure cargo accurately to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Uphold a clean and professional company image while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Current DOT Medical Card and necessary endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight delivery deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
