Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Florida and southeastern states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Load/unload cargo securely using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD compliance and electronic documentation
- Strong defensive driving skills and weather navigation expertise
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Knowledge of Florida highway system and regional routes
