Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Indiana
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-trip/post-trip documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Indiana roadways and weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/overnight shifts as needed
- Previous experience with flatbed or dry van trailers preferred
