Overview
We are seeking experienced, professional drivers to join our expanding fleet. Whether you are local to Charlotte or driving through Georgia, we provide the tools and support you need to succeed on the road.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and stay within all federal and state regulations.
- Secure cargo properly and ensure the safety of all freight on board.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, traffic signals, and right-of-way rules at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and dispatchers regarding delivery times and cargo handling.
- Report mechanical issues and accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on truck type).
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours-of-service regulations.
- Valid medical card (DOT compliant).
