Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) following DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery records
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain compliance with HOS and company policies
- Represent SwiftHaul with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with NYC metro area routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
- hazmat endorsement a plus
