Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight across the Austin metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure total safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, ELD) in strict accordance with DOT regulations and company policy.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication while on the road.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Tanker or Hazmat endorsements a plus).
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic English language skills for effective communication.
- Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts and holidays as required.
