Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to deliver cargo to designated locations on time and in full.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected from damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the proper endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- A clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
