Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and all required documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery updates and any route deviations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
