Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate efficiently through various routes, including traffic-heavy areas in Phoenix and CA corridors.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the security of the cargo and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUI/DWI in the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for toll and fuel calculations.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and occasional overtime.
