Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport our freight across the region. This role requires a commitment to timely delivery and adherence to strict safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
- Basic computer literacy for log entry and communication.
