Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on designated routes between Milwaukee, WI, and Florida.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using company equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
