Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and forklift equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of HOS (Hours of Service), delivery receipts, and incident reports.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and timely service.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers at various delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, map reading, and navigation tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
