Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by law.
- Deliver cargo on time while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and promptly report mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for long periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
