Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and efficient manner to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Inspect the vehicle for mechanical issues prior to departure and upon arrival.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and delivery records.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring no damage occurs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- At least 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
