Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes in FL/NC
- Complete timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong geographical knowledge of FL/NC routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
