Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across Louisiana and Georgia routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous driver logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Deliver freight on time with exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Maintain clean driving record and required certifications
- Perform basic minor repairs during transit as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (current and in-state)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Basic navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends)
- Knowledge of Louisiana and Georgia highway systems
