Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo to destinations across Ohio and Virginia.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and driver qualification files.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and handle freight (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
