Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with FMCSA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain necessary endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples) as required.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
