Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on highways and local routes in and around Chicago, IL.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs, including Hours of Service (HOS).
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and clients.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
