Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying manifests and handling freight with care.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Previous experience in truck driving and logistics preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
