Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Inspect and maintain trucks before/after trips to ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route changes and delays
- Adhere to all federal/state traffic regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
