Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques using provided equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Operate in diverse weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Complete electronic logging system documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying climate conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and hazmat procedures (preferred)
