Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes in San Jose Bay Area
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Bay Area geography and delivery routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overtime
