Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) on regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients throughout transit
- Handle hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- DOT medical certification and current physical
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work flexible schedules
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Ohio terrain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Hazmat endorsement highly desirable
- Excellent communication and time management skills
