Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the tri-state area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC metro area traffic patterns
- Basic understanding of freight documentation
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading duties
- Strong time management and communication skills
